Ah, the concise end to a promising beginning. While the ring is a symbol of eternality, it can, alas, be melted down.

This made me smile, ZQ, as I recently had to have my wedding and engagement rings cut off to resize them. First time I’d had them off since they were placed there. eons ago. Felt strange without them…and the indents you mention were there. Like my finger had been a bit girdled. 🙂

yes… i def. think they gonna linger for a while… it’s not something you can take off and then it’s gone..

Perfection. I remember that indentation. I had a matching one in my soul back then…..good one, my friend!

So much in these few words, ZQ! The indentation can evoke so many things.

Geesh…I didn’t think of that, unless you mean all things can be melted down into another value…even that, I suppose, has no permanence 🙂
Thanks for stopping by.

Rumor has it you had rings on all your fingers…gold, silver, and precious stones 🙂

Thanks…I don’t know how those things hit paper and splat like that. 🙂
Well . . .
