Aceptance

13 Jul

Dark moss seeking sun

Birch bent with acknowledgement

Child runs to mother.

Grass rising in dew

Casts crushed footsteps aside

Finds father in child.

I so enjoy the personification of nature here…you bring all the characters here to life with your words. Beautiful opening, too.

This feels very Zen-like. Or perhaps acceptance is a Zen of it’s own creation? Glad to catch this on a calm, relaxing Sunday. Enjoyable read.

Ya, I did look it up when I was researching… it seemed like an awkward word to me too. But, I settled with
noun: acknowledgement…acceptance of the truth or existence of something.

A lovely haiku response ~ In the first, I like the symbolism of dark moss seeking the sun ~ The second I find intriguing as it is from another perspective specially with “Finds father in child” ~

Thanks for linking up with Real Toads & wishing you happy weekend ~

Acceptance. Nice imagery, simple, clean. Not sure how I feel about the word ‘acknowledgement’, I’m not sure how well it fits in with the rest being so long and abstract. But maybe the word grows on you? Anyway, thanks for sharing your work.
