Another Challenging Morning

19 Jun

The light between branches at evenings’ dusk,

With eyes raised towards a sinking sunset;

I found myself in prayer and in trust,

To hear a voice without malice or threat.

Only one thought could escape my loose mind,

Scrambling in a futile sentence out loud;

Denying You and all that is Divine,

Deafened in doubt with branches hidden shroud.

Yet, light continues to shine throughout night,

Quarter moon, half moon waxing or waning;

Follows me in silent Lover’s flight,

Forgiving, of course, my sins in morning.

Awaking in a new life of terror;

Asking me, to be life without error.

    Great closing lines ZQ! It is always a constant reminder that may be given a chance to make amends and one is obliged to do so.

    It is terrifying to try and live life without error…but oh thankfulness for that morning light as a new day dawns and we can start anew.

    What gives me comfort, in the man made chaos and horror of this life, are the rhythms of nature, repeating in endless cycle of life, so dedicated to all that lives. And what a great idea, life has, giving us a world brand new every morning, and another day, another chance to get it right. I love this poem, kiddo.

    it does seem like asking a lot, but remember we are human and only by divine inspiration are we readied to face another day, already designed

    Have a nice Sunday
