My Life, As It Rhymes Going To Bed Each Night

21 Nov

It was a long hard run—

Shocked, exhilarated, and stunned.

Birth was a canal through hell—

That ended well.

Though, none will beg to differ—

Some may whither

At my passing –

As never a moment everlasting.

Faster than some—

But slower to have won.

The long, hard run goes on—until suddenly it’s doesn’t anymore…

A life lived well and fully………enjoyed richly, and with humour. One can ask for no more. (Though we always want More.) Soldier on, fellow pilgrim!
