Don’t run away, unless you know where you are going.
Everyone should have an acceptance, and, an exit plan.
*****
Bottom Of The Glass:
…as long as I could see the bottom of the glass,
I would pour myself another drink;
Seeing my reflection
At the bottom of the glass
Sometimes dithered me though.
So, at some point,
I would leave the glass half-full.
*****
Love’s Encouragement:
(Inhale)
It is time we move on
from where we met
to where we were suppose
(exhale)
to meet.
(Breath)
Hold my hand, we’ll search our memory,
and find our way.
(Inhale)
It is time we move on
from where we met
to where we were suppose
(exhale)
to meet.
*****
Enlightenment’s Rock And Roll:
Often,
Silence is a noise we try to avoid.
Whether in conversation, in loneliness,
Or worst, when we are bored.
Yet,
When it is present, it opens the windows
With no mind. To a space quietly making music
To no one, in no place, for nothing.
So, before accepting it,
We kiss our mind gently good-bye;
And escape through the window, with our soul,
To join the dance, to the music of enlightenment’s
Rock and Roll.

You have a wise refrigerator. Mine says things like Milk, and Kale. A little like me I guess, concerned with what’s going on inside. I especially like the breathing o loves encouragement.

I like all of these but the first is very smart and excellent advice. Happy belated 70th Birthday for last week.

Glasses half-full are nice on the liver… and great for the storage of brewing imagination.

Silence while staring at the bottom of the glass and breathing deeply in and out.

Love that your thoughts made me stop and listen, then escape with my soul alive and breathing,

That’s a more interesting refrigerator than mine is! It cuts through the silence, it reminds always a poet is in the house … or was, but escaped.

I like the idea that everyone should have an acceptance and an exit plan. So very true of any situation, ZQ.
I liked “Love’s Encouragement” as well. I find myself coming and going amidst your words, wondering if all meetings happen….that way! Smiles.

I enjoyed all of these. The humour of the first captured me at once; the second was intriguing; the third deep and beautiful; and all presenting particular truths.

So, before accepting it,
We kiss our mind gently good-bye;
And escape through the window, with our soul,
It is important that one is in control. A Plan B of escape is essential as one is more confident when one is prepared!
